Born in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, in 1952, Avtandil Makharoblidze graduated from the Tbilisi Academy of Art in 1975. His emotional and evocative oil and mixed media paintings have received wide exposure at numerous regional and national exhibitions in the United States, the former Soviet Union and across Europe.
For me Avtandil paints seductive in a way that inspire late cocktails and nightly entertainment. There is a large urban environment, beautiful clothes and a lot of intoxicants. Would probably like to call it for applicants, unhappy people who avtandil depicts in his paintings. Anyway, I am very in to the soft colors and the slightly abstract people on his canvas paintings.
