BIKE THOUGHTS

Att ta cykeln till festen är det optimala för det betyder att jag när som helst kan bara dra istället för att ringa efter taxi och kanske vänta 1 timma och vara social med människor fast man egentligen bara vill vara för sig själv.       

Taking the bike to the party, it is optimal because that means that I can at any time just bike away instead of calling a taxi and may have to wait 1 hour and then be with people on the party  even if I really just want to be alone by myself.

DALAI LAMA MEETING

Idag har vi haft möte på skolan om Dalai Lamas kommande event. Säkerhets apparaten är enorm och det känns jätte spännande att vara en av spindlarna i det stora nätet.

Today we had a meeting at the school about Dalai Lama's upcoming events. The safety equipment is huge and it feels really exciting to be a part of the event-network.

MY APRIL

ME PLUS YOGA=TRUTH

Idag skall jag till stadsteaterns cafè och äta chokladbollar med en kompis och sedan skall jag på min nya förälskelse: Yoga. Har provat yoga sporadiskt i flera år men det var inte förräns alldeles nyligen jag blev riktigt biten. Alla dessa töjningar, kontrollen på andningen, de mjuka rörelserna och den andligt inspirerade tekniken skapar en helt ny träningsupplevelse.

Today I will go to the city theater-cafe and eat chocolate balls with a friend and then I will go on my new love: Yoga. Have tried yoga sporadically for several years but it was not until recently I was really bitten. All these strains, the control of breathing, the gentle movements and the spiritually-inspired body-technology creates an entirely new training experience.

Idag sken solen starkare än den gjort på länge. Folk satt i hela stockholm och bara lapade. Jag tog en promenad och njöt av en ny bok av Joyce Carol Oates. Kort och gott - det är vår.

Today the sun was shining stronger than it has for a long time. People sat in Stockholm and seeked the sun everywhere. I took a walk and enjoyed a new book frm Joyce Carol Oates. It is spring!!

THE GIRLS @ RICHE

Det blev också en liten tur till Riche på lördagen, sedan tog luften slut på söndagen, tillbringade den mestadels i sängen med te.

We went also to Riche on Saturday, then I was blowd out on Sunday, spent most of the time in bed with tea.

RESTAURANT INDIAN GARDEN

Magdalena och Sofie var på weekend hos mig över helgen och fredag-lördag blev intensivt med sightseeing, klubb, restaurang och promenader. Här kommer bilder från Indian Garden från i fredags med Magdalena, Felix, Natalie, Sofie och Carro. Indian Garden har vunnit många priser och vi blev inte besvikna. Topp service och härlig lounge musik samt super god Tikka Masala.

Magdalena and Sofie was over at my place this weekend and Friday and Saturday was intense with sightseeing, clubs and restaurants. Here are pictures from the restaurant Indian Garden from Friday night with Magdalena, Felix, Natalie, Sofie, and Carrie. Indian Garden is a really nice, loungy restaurant with top reviews.

 Det har varit en hektisk vecka med massor av studier och roliga inslag. En jätte rolig grej som nyligen hände och som jag berättade lite smått om var att min hyresvärd gav mig kläder hon skulle ge bort. Här är ett av plaggen från Oleg Cassini - tjusigt va?

It's been a hectic week with lots of studies. A really funny thing happened recently and as I told a little bit about was that my landlord gave me the clothes she did`nt used. Here is one of the garments from Oleg Cassini - fancy, huh?

 I researched further and discovered a company with a fantstiskt reputation and a superb marketing.

THOMAS ARVID - THE WINE PAINTER

Thomas Arvid Nationality: United States

Arvid was raised in Detroit with the intention of taking an industry job, but decided to pursue art as a career. After a backpacking trip in Europe, he decided to become an artist fulltime. He is married to an art historian, and has two children. Arvid currently resides in Atlanta, and in 2000 he and his wife founded Thomas Arvid Fine Art, Inc. In 2004 the company released "Arvid: Redefining the Modern Still Life," a retrospective of his work.

Art Business News credits Arvid with "launching a major art trend…" with his oversized still life compositions of wine and the rituals surrounding it. Arvid works mainly in oil on canvas, but has released a limited number of giclée prints and is currently beginning to work in resin sculpture.

I think his work is spectacular and I found it difficult to see if the art is a photo or canvas.
