 Det har varit en hektisk vecka med massor av studier och roliga inslag. En jätte rolig grej som nyligen hände och som jag berättade lite smått om var att min hyresvärd gav mig kläder hon skulle ge bort. Här är ett av plaggen från Oleg Cassini - tjusigt va?

It's been a hectic week with lots of studies. A really funny thing happened recently and as I told a little bit about was that my landlord gave me the clothes she did`nt used. Here is one of the garments from Oleg Cassini - fancy, huh?

Efter att ha surfat runt länge och väl så fann jag helt otroliga bilder på cocktails i New York.

Jag forskade vidare och upptäckte ett företag med ett fantstiskt rykte och en suverän marknadsföring.

NYC has everything and even fantastic catering companys. After looking around a long time at the net  I found fabulous pictures of cocktails in New York.

 I researched further and discovered a company with a fantstiskt reputation and a superb marketing.

THOMAS ARVID - THE WINE PAINTER

Thomas Arvid Nationality: United States

Arvid was raised in Detroit with the intention of taking an industry job, but decided to pursue art as a career. After a backpacking trip in Europe, he decided to become an artist fulltime. He is married to an art historian, and has two children. Arvid currently resides in Atlanta, and in 2000 he and his wife founded Thomas Arvid Fine Art, Inc. In 2004 the company released "Arvid: Redefining the Modern Still Life," a retrospective of his work.

Art Business News credits Arvid with "launching a major art trend…" with his oversized still life compositions of wine and the rituals surrounding it. Arvid works mainly in oil on canvas, but has released a limited number of giclée prints and is currently beginning to work in resin sculpture.

I think his work is spectacular and I found it difficult to see if the art is a photo or canvas.

Är just nu inne i en tomatsås period och vill ha minst 1 kg tomatsås i frysen hela tiden. Det är så otroligt praktiskt att ha tomatsås för det kan vara till en mat bas i nästan allting. Min egen italienska tomatsås gör du så här.

Krossade tomater, lök, vitlök, olivolja, basilika, svamp, salt, peppar och grädde.

 

Is currently having a period of cooking of tomato sauce and would like to have at least 1 kg tomato sauce in the freezer. It is so incredibly helpful to have some tomato sauce ready so I can have it as a food base for almost everything. This is the recipe

Crushed tomatoes, onions, garlic, olive oil, basil, mushrooms, salt, pepper and cream.

ELIZABETH TAYLOR IS DEAD

Elizabeth Taylor var själva symbolen för hollywood. Hon hade alla komponenter för att vara en riktigt superstjärna.

Hon var med i över 70 filmer, vann 2 oscar under sin karriär, var vacker och hade ett stormigt privatliv. Hon var gift inte minre än 8 gånger. Hon blev 79 år och avled efter en tids sjukdom.

Elizabeth Taylor was the very symbol of Hollywood. She had all the means to be a true superstar.

 She was featured in over 70 films, won two Oscars during her career, was beautiful and had a stormy personal life. She was married than eight times. She became 79 years old and died after a many years of desase.

SPRING WEATHER

Idag är det solsken, värme och vår.

 Åtminstonde så får vädergudarna mig att tro det så jag tar av mig vinterjackan och exprimenterar med pastellfärger och tunn, täckjacka.

Vi får se om jag är frisk imorgon. Är på väg till stockholms universitet för seminarium om hälsa. Ses ikväll!

Today it's sunshine, warm weather and spring.

Well, the weather make me believe it so I take off my winter jacket and is experimenting with pastel colors and thin, quilted jacket.

Lets see if I'm fine tomorrow or if I am in my bed - sick. Is on my way to Stockholm University for a seminar about health. See you tonight!
